Hi guys, heres a pic my friend Troy and i created last weekend, at our hometown funfly. Was done with a Trex500, and some expensive looking camera.

The word is centered on the center line, and the camera operator guides the pilot to the top left corner, calls start, and starts the exposure. From this starting point, and the center line, the pilot then "writes" in the box defined, by the starting corner. The pilot then calls the finishing point, and the exposure is complete. The word we are trying to create in that picture, is the word " Troy" .

The flying is actually pretty simple. It is done from a tail in hovering position(our most practised orientation usally).

More of these to come

Cheers.

I'd think that actually writing the word would be the most difficult as setting up the shot should be easy.

Nice job though. Wait for it to get a little darker

Mikado Logo 400, hopefully ready by spring.

Nice job.... it's tough. I played around with this with my son and some friends during a camping trip this summer. We did some of them just by holding an LED flashlight. Fun!

Chris, that photo looks cool. I wish I could have been there but I was away at work. Maybe next year.
