Do any of you remember a while back a video floating around of a turbine powered copter with 360 bottom mount starts off on the road taking pic of car going down highway then flys over and films a music group. Also shows camera operator with monitor filming it. I think they also do 007 films and stuff for hollywood. If you know where I can find it point me the way.. Thanks

i think you search action fly in germany ( http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t548372p1/) for music video and car
But for 007 it's flying cam.

Did it contain a blonde pretty girl behind the wheel while she was singing?

I remember the video. It was a car chase scene with a GT40 I think and also a music video. Pretty sure it was from a company in south africa??

Also I remember the video being very good and the piloting being great as well....they flew through a tunnel chasing cars etc.

I did a search but did not come up with anything.

Yep, Tabb is right. The shot was on a side of a mountain. Two GT40's, tunnel, shots from the mini van etc..

I have it at home, I know that. Problem is won't be home till Sunday.

If I would have flown that I would probably just now be up for parole in 3 to 5. It was not a closed set for sure.

Frosty, i must disagree, at least from what i see from a customers point of view, the video quality is reeeeeaaaaly poor, i guess its a demo reel directly from their site?

IMO, it doesnt help showing many fancy angels and comps if it all just gives you a "messy" impression
Dont take it the wrong way, im pretty sure the end results is another story, but still, this is your first impression...

Take a look at this instead, and then tell me what you think, smooth filming, classy post prod, and last but not least, a HIGH def video that shows how the final product actually will look like...

Yea, call me picky, but only the best is good enough, IMHO.

hahaha very nice quality vid indeed... But my point was not to show end product so much as the actual heli filming the scenes inbetween with helicam filming. I didnt see the actual camera copter in this vid and that is what I was wanting to protray. As you pointed out The quality of the demo def needs to be improved and I thought there was a little better copy out there. Thanks for the input tho..

I though Daytona's vid was rather interesting for it's overall content as much as final result. Although you can see the filming heli at 1:03 which is cool.

Any more like that one Daytona?

reflection in aft left window...

I know it's not what you're after but working in Hollywood doing full scale aerials for a living, we always rag each other on seeing the camera bird in reflections wether it be a light house, high rise, vehicles, shadows, you name it. Personally, I love it...
