If you are running the 600 take the spacers out and run the frames alone where the boom fits. And for both 500 and 600, run 2 2.5x10mm frame screws in the 2 extruded holes in the tail boom cavity. When you look into the cavity that the boom screws go into, you will see 2 raised wholes aligned with the center of the boom. You can just self tap 2 of these screws in those holes until you cannot screw them further, which means they are pinching the outer wall of the boom. You will never have one slip again..

The rear of the boom on the 500 tail case needs to be glued to the boom, but I recommend the carbon tail upgrade instead.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I can try to upload a picture.

you mean the tail rotor assembly needs to be glued to the boom? i haven't had a problem with he back end slipping just the front and what about a bunch of electrical tape wrapped around the boom before inserting?

All you have to do is pin the boom. You get it where you want it, tighten it as tight as you can without hurting the frames and then do this:
Look at the right side of the frames in the rear where the boom screws are (looking from the rear) you will see tow little "holes" in the middle of the frame supports. Drill a small hole in the frame that goes just barely into the boom. Use a small threaded screw that barely goes through the frames and the boom.

No drilling required. Just use 2 logo frame screws. They self thread right in the holes. as I mentioned above.

The plastic tail case has a knurl on it to prevent it from twisting. This knurl will wear out eventually, so gluing is best in the rear of the Logo 500.
