I don't know what is going on and I sure hope someone can help me.

Sometimes my V-Bar works, sometimes it doesn't. I turn on the heli and I have no Collective control. The throttle works fine the cyclic works fine, but when I apply collective, the swash stays dead centre. If it starts up this way and I wait five min, the collective will start to go nuts. It repeatedly runs the collective up to their end points... you honestly think it is going to break the servos. Then it sits and vibrates for a min, then it goes back to pumping the collective.

What the hell is going on???? This also doesn't happen all the time, seems to be random.

Anyone have any idea? I am ready to pull my hair out!

EDIT: It appears to be getting worse. It just gave me collective and then suddenly stopped. I am currently connected to the PC and when I hit "Coldstart" it resets, I get the twitch, then no collective. Everything else works fine, the Vbar will give the correct corrections to input, but no collective at all. ARGH!!!!

unspelling the world one misprint at a time.

It sounds like there is a disconnect between the pitch channel on your radio and the vbar. Check those connections. When your in setup, does the bar for collective move when you move the collective stick? That would be a sure indicator that the vbar is not seeing the pitch signal from the TX.

Try hot gluing the servo connections into the rx and v bar . Your losing connection somewhere .

In addition to above mentioned items, I had a patch cable fail on me once, so try switch the cable and see if the problem follow the cable or not.

I think you should send it in to Mikado and fly something else for the next month. Better safe than sorry.

I had my connectors get some light corrosion on them. After pulling them out and back in a few times they cleaned up and no more issues like you mentioned.
