Hello all,

I recently bought USB Flight Simulator FS SM100 FMS Cable adapter of ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...e=STRK:MEWNX:IT
I also downloaded Phoenix 2.5 simulator.
When I'm trying to calibrate transmitter I'm getting error about transmitter is not connected.
Is there training mode on my transmitter or it's just wrong set of cables?
I have standard 2.4 transmitter from Belt CPv2

Thanks

Alex

you have the wrong adaptor
Phoenix sim comes with special USB wire

unless phoenix has trial software that allows third party USB cables to be used

The USB dongle from Phoenix is the copy protection. You need to buy a full version to make it work.

probably not
unless it's a known TX, futaba, jr, hitec,

Try googling FMS flightsim
it will work with your set-up

I was able to get my Eflight Blade CP Tx to work with Pheonix. It did require an adapter from Pheonix RC, only $8

http://www.ekmpowershop4.com/ekmps/...lot-etc-5-p.asp

With the Blade CP Tx you cannot disable mixing. Pheonix has a demixing tool built-in but it didn't work very well. That was 2 years ago maybe its better now. If you can turn off the mixing on the Tx it will work better. But that probably requires toggling some dip switches inside. Not very convienent unless you want to deticate it to SIMing. I use the Tx for my son's Esky Lama. Its 4 channel and works fine.

Here are some sims that will work with a generic USB transmitter/adaptor

Clearview http://www.rcflightsim.com/
HeliX http://www.heli-x.net/index_e.shtml
FMS http://n.ethz.ch/~mmoeller/fms/index_e.html

FMS is free
Clearview is cheap and IMHO works well.
HeliX I think version .9 is free and 2.0 costs $$

If your Esky Tx is set up in CCPM, you have to turn that off using some dip switches under the battery. I suggest getting a $20 USB box from Hobby Partz instead.
They are just $20
