My radio is acting wierd.
First time ever.

I set up a new model. Not my first time.
Well now the right stick (up and down) moves all three servos together in the same direction.Like the throttle stick should do.

The left stick(up and down)tilts the swash forward and back like the elevator stick should do.

I've tried every different combination of servo reversing but nothing gets it right.

What am I missing?It's a DX7

Sorry for not posting in the radio section but when I do the topic never gets read.

I literally never use the word literally right.

you have the wrong stuff plugged in the wrong port, or the wrong swash mix selected.

Front left servo is aleron.
Front right servo is AUX 1.
Rear servo is elevator.

Swash type is 120*

Yes the others are fine.

Now I have the throttle working all three servos up and down in the right direction.

The elevator is working all three servos to tilt for and aft in the right direction.

But left and right are reversed.

You need to go into the swash mix, and change the alerones one to -60, instead of 60,, this is how you reverse the travel in 120 setup not the reverse switch,, XGM/VGM

Got it!!!

I switched the aleron and pitch servos in the RX ports and reversed both servos.

Why is it acting like that?
I've used this RX before and front left has always been aleron.

Anywho, thanks for looking in on me and keep the feedback coming.
I'm curious why this RX is behaving different on this heli than it did on the other.

My 450 is also set up with the front left servo as aleron.
Hmmm.....

JR and Futaba servos will act reversed from each other, so if you have JR in one, and Futaba in the other, they will be differant,, XGM/VGM

Set Up
I always make the front right servo the aileron and front left always pitch...the usually it may be nessesary to reverse one servo direction and the rest is done in swash mix as you have done... Easiest way I have found... And I use JR with Futaba servos most of the time...

I got in the habit of calling the front left aleron because I used a Helicommand for a while and that's the way it is set up.

I'm not really using different servos per se...

One heli has four DS520's.
One has three DS510's and a 520.
One has three DS610's and a 620.

The one with four 520's is the oddball.

Its hard to get used to at first but the only time you reverse a servo is to have them all move in the same direction initialy, even if its the wrong direction. The rest is done in the swash mix by switching the values from positive to negative or the reverse. Its realy very easy once you get used to it.

Why would I go through all the hassle of switching values when a simple "Click" does the same thing?

I just wrecked my brain on another heli tonight.
It is a 120* head but has two servos in back and not the front.

It took a few minutes but I got it.

Look At Each...
Look at each servo prior to hooking to the swash... move the tx stick and make sure that the aileron servo would move the swash in the proper direction, the elevator the same and that the collective would move the swash too.... those can be changed in the reversing.... then the values on the swash mix will make "all" the servos mix and work together... it is pretty easy once you do it a few times....
But you should always use the same servo for aileron and the same for collective.... I like right aileron and left collective.,,, but I have had to change when using electronics stabilizers in the past... but still the same principle each time...

Good Luck.... Stan

Thanks for the input.Everyone.
The second heli I was fighting with was an RTF kit my brother and I bought.
I chucked the 72Mhz TX and RX it came with and installed an AR6100e.
I don't know why I had so much trouble getting everything moving right.

Finally got it.

These little 250's are a blast to fly
