hope this link works, as you'd be impressed - 700lb thrust and nearing 200mph!
it a toffee rocket, which consists of a 4ft tube stuffed with toffee and peanuts, plus a small amount of aluminium filings and NO2.

i'm cheesed on that. the rocket that i briefly descibed above was monuted to trolley that ran on a standard gauge railway line. the line was 200 meters in length; the trolley/truck was just a frame, weighing in at approx 500lb/230kg for an estimation. the truck had frictin brakes plus a 'chute and big chains - like what they use when launching a ship - none of these systems worked. it was stopped by the 'buffer' on the end of the 200m straight along with a ton and ahalf of water (in plastic barrels) 200mph in a distance of 200meters!
