Have any experienced heli guys near you who can give you a hand with your radio and linkage setups? It's tough to get right until you've done it a few times, and there's no quicker way to learn than with in-person help.

GImbal yes I do, a very good guy who writes for RC heli
but I was trying to go at it alone.
I got everything done in the subtrim menu on the radio.
SO bit by bit I am learning different aspects of this and my learning curve is getting better.

First and formost, All subtrims at center, throttle at 1/2 stick, swash at the center of the main shaft or the center of its movement. Then use a allen wrench attached to the main shaft, short end out attached with wire ties or the like to the main shaft. Rotate the main shaft around to all the swash points till they are level with each other. Twist the ball lengths to do this. This will get you soooo close you will need nothing else or very little of nothing to get it level.

You only mix to level the swashplate at full top and bottom range.

Midstick, you mechanically set the linkages for a level swash with all bellcranks at 90 degrees.
