What's the difference between pumped or non-pumped engine. I take it the Align 91H is non-pumped. Did I buy the wrong engine?

IMO - no. The pump adds complexity and another thing to mess with and adjust. if you change altitude a lot or some other factors then maybe the pump could help but what I've seen is those that have a pump'd engine dump it and go with a non-pumped engine. If I went back and got to re-choose my equipment I'd still get the Align 91H.

non pumped is the only way to go. You dont need the complexity of the pump just to have it fail and burn up your motor. Happened twice to my SZ. Never again will I go pumped

Another con for the pumped engine on the T700 is that the pump unit extends below the baseplate.

If you crash & take out the skids, there's a good chance that you'll damage the pump too.

Non pumped Align/OS FTW!

Personally I think the YS91SR is the go.
