when the 760 , 520 ,750 all out perform it?
this is a major load of BS. lmao, no doubt the spartin and 520 are exelent gyros but the minig is every bit as good if not better and has superior support and pricing.

Another Vote as well for the Inertia 860
I adore mine and plan to try it on all my birds as soon as funds allow it.

The Align GP750 is a very good gyro.

even not doing anything would have been better than nothing...

How can you say the mini g has better support than the the Spartan 760? The 760 gives you free firmware updates and presets. Angelo 's customer sevice is TOP notch.

And whoever said the gp 750 is a pos obviously can't fly or can't setup a heli. It's lame when a bunch of guys that can barely fly back a product like it's the "Cats Ass".

If you can't fly hard backwards flight you should not even respond in these threads. Think about it. If the hardest thing you can do to the tail are pitch pumps then you really have no idea if it's performing well.

STR8HUCKIN, I like the Mini G a bunch and can't say that it does things other gyros don't. But I can say that it was extremely easy to set up and holds the tail no matter how crappy I fly. For me it was money well spent.

FWIW you have had 2 pinked posts in 5 days and you were banned from Helifreak for profanity, do us a favor and mellow out. Since you live in Lodi, put on a Credence album and relax.

There is nothing in that video a standard 401 could not handle.

If you really want to see how well a gyro can hold try 2 maneuvers.

Fast reverse flight, start a continues turn, then begin to piro.

Climb to altitude, tail slide until you are at a great deal of speed, start a piro.

Both of these maneuvers will show you how will a gyro will deal with the forces being put on the tail.

Also, everyone is entitled to there opinion. You don't have to be a good pilot to know things about Gyros. There are probably more tech geeks out there that know more about gyros then pilots.

Not saying I'm one of them.

Hell, it's just a bunch of moving parts to me.

I have always loved how the pilots are the best to know everything about a product. I would think the engineer would know more. That's just me.

STR8HUCKIN,whats up with that? All that talking, putting people down that you never seen fly telling them they can't set a heli up and your tail on the Trex 450 was wagging pretty good at 2:40 .You can hear it banging as you flew past.I thought I was going to see some hard 3D by the way you were talking but all I seen was some slow backwards loops, some tictocs and fast forward flight.

that is hilarious that he is bashing our flying and it seemed that he was directing that at me...lol I am pleanty capable of puting a gyro to the test and saying what gyro has been the best performer for me.

Here chuckle about this. I have progressed a lot since this vid as well.

I challenge flyinghigh 450 , The new guy, and wingman to 1 up this video. I'm not saying that I'm any good but I have only been at it since oct 2008. (my join date on HF)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjgJA4prUR4

This was my first time flying in real wind and my first time flying with people watching me so I was super nervous and couldn't stop my fingers from shaking. (first time at a fun fly)

I am also running 5s and it has a bad bearing. (started squeaking on this flight).

Anyways you guys should work on your search skills that way next time you can come up with something current before you put your foot in your mouth.

What I'm saying Josh, is that even you, having only been flying since Oct2008 is entitled to their opinion. It's just that, "an opinion". It doesn't mean that it's fact or truth.

Only someone who has bought all the gyros out there in question and has set up very specific bench test for measuring all aspects of each gyro can truly say which one is better. It has nothing to do with flying skill. But you know that!

So before you start throwing challenges out maybe think twice about what's being said.

I was challenged and then someone responded to that challenge for me with 2 old vids of mine.

Funny thing is that both of those vids were the first flights of those machines. The pro had just come out and I was trying to be cool and post a vid of how it flys so others could see it. I hadn't even dropped the gain yet , let alone flip the grips and play with the settings.

Btw I never meant to call out anyone in particular. It's a pet peeve of mine when noobs recommend products they have no idea about.
Like when you see people respond in "which tail servo threads" and you get a bunch of guys trying to push the 9650. When of course this is not the way to go when you can get a 9257 for the same money.

Are you joking with that video ?????Not saying you fly bad or anything cause its pretty good but theres no way your flying the tail hard enough to blow a GY401 out so thats not hard backwards flight like you claim.Heres my youtube ID and I have enough videos up to show I know what im talking about,im not a pro and far from one but I fly my tail pretty hard and not slow. http://www.youtube.com/user/flyinhigh450 .

Dam, I was just getting ready to go make a video. Let's return to talking about a gyro for the OP.

Basically any of the newer gyros today will be a improvement over a 601. You will enjoy how well the gyros perform.
