I posted this in the gyro section but thought I would post here as well in case it's an Airskipper problem.

Okay, this is baffling me. I have a JR Airskipper converted to electric with a new 401/9254 combo. The ship is glass smooth and the tail holds perfect but I have an intermittent jitter. I can hover the ship directly in front of me and watch the servo arm jitter about two-three millimeters and see it in the tail, sometimes violently.

What's weird is I can run it up on the ground without pitch, drawing about 11 amps, and cannot make it happen, tail is just rock solid. Then I can lift off, drawing about 23 amps, and there comes the problem.

Thinking this is some type of electrical interference, I moved the 401 from the front of the ship to the back and rerouted the wires but no luck. Next I swapped the 9254 and still have the problem. I'm going to shotgun the 401 now but thought I would post to see if anyone had seen anything similar. Any ideas??

Thanks
Brad

Just a thought, have you tried to change the gyro pad or use thicker/thinner ones? I've done this a few times till I found what works best for my application.

Problem
Check your rec. battery, it may have a cell going bad.

Guys, turned out it was a bad 401 new out of the box. Swapped in another and problem solved. Thanks for everyone's suggestions!
