The fan on a Vibe 50 or similar can be removed quickly without any special tools or hammers - found this on RR.

First remove the clutch from the fan, then undo the crank nut and wind it up the thread till it is about half way of the end of the crank.
Then find some slightly longer bolts same thread as original clutch bolts, then simply bolt the clutch back on the fan, slowly tightening the bolts - this will draw the fan off the collets.

Really does work well and no cost.
