Hi There

I have a JR490T Gyro on my century hawk and for the first time I am forced to learn how to setup the gyro gain via my futuba fasst 6ex radio.

Can someone help explain how to adjust the gain as my heli tail is suffering from tail wag. Im used to adjusting the manual pot on my older gyros, but this one does not have one.

When I enter the Gyro function on the radio, I know hoow to switch it on. I noticed I can either go all the way -100% to +100% .

I have read up so many different explanations on this but still do not get it. Where my confusion is coming from is that people are stating you must set it at -100 and +100% but this feature only seems to either go +ve or -ve, not both. If I go into the "negative side" what does that do. If I go into the "positive side" what does that do?

Someone please help explain as its the first time I am doing this.

Thanks

Its easy. + side is heading hold, - side is rate mode.

+50 is 50 percent gain in heading hold

Make sure the end points for the gear channel are at 100/100

I may have that backwards but it should be obvious what mode it's in.
