What's up with guys putting an add in the for sale forum and giving a link to EBay? No price, description, nothing.
Are they trying to sell here to RR members or ?

I asked this before. I was just told something like....they can sell it anyway they want. I guess mine was more of a complaint than a question.....

Maybe I'll look up the old thread for you sometime.

EDIT:

Ok. Found one of them...I cant find the one I thought I posted though. This one is listed on the "Pet Peeves" forum.
How about the people that come on here and post a classified add that links to ebay. That's annoying. If I wanted to look at ebay (or even liked it), thats where I would look. I want to see for sale adds here not a link to a site that sucks.

I might not be able to fly well, but I can crash with the best of them.

The more you advertise the more you are likely to get for your stuff.

Your right. But have seperate adds for each site. Its not that hard to copy and paste!! If I wanted to go to ebay, thats where I would look.

I agree but if ebay is mentioned should it be pink posted because they are not a vendor. I will say that Mark is a stand up guy for not having us tp pay fees to sell items on here. It is hard to find that today.

When I see an ad with egay i skip right over it , if you want to sell it here then put the ad here .

Mark should boot the egay ads for all RR is doing is free advertisement for another company .

If you're not living on the edge you're just taking up space !

Coming from a person who has bought and sold on Ebay and RR I would much rather sell on RR; however, when things don't sell here then I post them on Ebay and continue the ad here. I would much rather sell or buy from a 'closer' community than just some Joe Schmo.

I do not agree with the people that post an ad strictly for advertisement for their Ebay ad. I currently have an ad on RR with an auction on Ebay and had someone offered to purchase it on RR then I would have ended the auction; however, the auction ends tomorrow and I don't feel it is right to end an auction given the time frame. My ad on RR has been up for a few weeks now and have not had much success.

I guess basically what it comes down to is are you running a business through RR and Ebay or is it just someone selling their items for their own personal reasons (need money, wanna upgrade, etc). The businesses need to provide a kick back to RR in my opinion!
