Sorry if I don't make an effort to be fair...it's not really common around here...

Yeah right.

Right after they pillaged other countries and entire villages slaughtering men, women, and children. In addition taking women home to breed.

But, they did go back home afterwards. Nice try Tintin. Real nice.

I suppose that made them kinder and gentler.

Huckin, where is your family from originally? I can promise you one thing, that unless your native your origins are not American. Whatever generation it was of your family that moved here, I bet they sure are glad that they don't have the same views as you. They would have had a hard time. I am fairly sure that Zaw doesn't think that we owe him anything. Please understand that speaking like this just makes you sound like a stupid redneck. The world is becoming more multicultural so get used to it.
Here let me get this straight for you.

What Do you think he meant when he said this:
You come here you follow the rules, you have no right(well less rights then who born there), you're not their religion we don't like you. I had to pray to different religion in school just so I can stay in school.
Sure sounds like he's crying about something to me!

You should know a little something about people before you call them ignorant rednecks. I live in a tough neighborhood and own a shop in an even worse neighborhood. I have MANY multicultural friends. More than I can count. Some that were born here some that weren't.

I will tell you that not one of them complains about a lack of rights or anything else for that matter. Come on that **** is so 50 years ago.

You need to get used to the fact that this is a dog eat dog world and that nothing is going to be handed to you.

I know several immigrants that have been very successful here, and they sure aren't bitching about it. Next time you ought to read
and comprehend a post before you try to pull your captain politically correct BS.

That's your answer?

Your answer proves my point and also that you didn't read a word of what I wrote. What is "American" ancestry? You obviously speak of the few English settlers who came here. How is that the ancestry of the multicultural immigrant nation we are today. You speak of ancestors. America's ancestry is everyone's.

You pick and choose what you want to respond to, in order to restate your bias. Your bias and opinion make your posts totally irrelevant to anyone with an eye for it. You might as well be speaking to yourself, for how much sense you make.

Must be sad to be you. To have such blind hatred closing your mind.

You shouldn't take everything I write so seriously....

:-) I choose what I reply to because I don't want to spend even more time here pssng you guys off than I already do...

And no it's not sad to be me at all, I have a good job, a place to live, good friends and just plainly enjoy life. Hatred is not closing my mind at all (tho I might suspect it clouds some others here...) I don't hate any of you guys even if I yank your chains a bit and you call me names to thank me for it. Sure I shake my head at times, but mostly I sit here smiling to myself and even LOL quite often.

You see unlike some, having a different opinion doesn't create hate in me....

I get it now. You're not posting out of hate. You're posting to troll.

You do it to get a rise out of people. And it makes you laugh.

It's still sad. The only way you can be happy is by jerking people's chains on the internet.

The funny thing is how sad WE are in providing both an avenue and an audience for this.

its kind of funny. how in the world can Europeans say anything about taking land form anyone. the english have killed millions in the past for land, religion and money. anyone that can read a book knows that. germans started both world wars for land and money. the french started that mess in asia in the 60s. its humman nature to take what we want form the weak. the indians did there best and lost its sad. early Americans or land hungury europeans took what they wanted after killing there brothers for this peace of dirt. my grandfather was apache and my dad is as white as u can get and there familys my family killed each othere for this land and I say u dont like it leave and stay off American web sites. all u haters dont call us the next time your A@@ needs saving if were so bad.

And not to take anything away from the American Indians but there were tribes killing each other before any Europeans even showed up.

This is our nature, gentlemen. Human nature. No one can say that their people don't have violence in their ancestry.

We all need to acknowledge that we have this in our nature. Then we can recognize it when it starts to arise.

:-) It's a little hard to cover everyone in a few lines bogus so one usually go for the general idea of it which was basicly rape and plunder, then go home with the spoils... in general they didn't come to settle even if they built temporary homes...
We all need to acknowledge that we have this in our nature. Then we can recognize it when it starts to arise.
You might have that in your nature, I don't, I left that in my childhood when the solutions were fewer...then I grew out of that..
I get it now. You're not posting out of hate. You're posting to troll.
No Aaron, not to troll, just to show you guys that we do not all think alike....if you consider that trolling you are free to do so...

So you don't have it in your nature but you used to do it.

Right.

I say that you overcame what is basic in human nature through the use of thought or higher morals.

In any case, to deny that humans don't have this inside them is a bit naive, IMO.

oh, so you are advocating getting hit and not hitting back??? I'll bet if we had the great nuclear war and we were all scratching around to survive, you'd hit back. Even you Tin.
You don't have kids do you??? Would you teach your son not to protect himself??? You'd just let all the other kiddies pound on your kid, or would you send him to the dojo to learn how to protect himself???
This response oughta be pricess......

Yup absolutely. Nuclear war is irrelevant to discuss as you are among the few that can start or respond to one....

As for kids, yes I teach them to walk away as I used to do. I hit back twice during my childhood when being picked on by 2 guys that in their turn were being picked on by older kids, so they had to find someone smaller to take it out on...I regret it...they both went to dojos afterwards, 1 still does, runs his own in fact, the other guy died young from being young, drunk and stupid.....I never felt the need to go to any dojo..

When I was at the uni I amongst other jobs worked weekends as a doorman. We were usually 10-12 each night. For some strange reason I was just about the only male one that never got into a fight and I "trew out" just as many as the others + refused as many getting in.
My 3rd time there I got to organize the security and did so for the rest of my years there and what to you know, we had less problems when we did it my way...

I've been threatened at work when I had to fire a guy, he had a record of being violent and had done time for it. Still felt no need for dojo time....violence breeds violence....and frankly I'm not one that has to use my fists when the words fail me and I have no problem "loosing my pride" by turning my back on a neanderthal that wants to pick a fight...what separates us from other animals is our ability to speak....use it...

point heard. And question answered. When your first born comes home roughed up a couple days in a row, well your response might be different. If the whole world (and I mean every single person) believed as you do, I'd be the first one in the pool. Unfortunately, it's not that way. Agree to disagree??
