I have a 4-stroke conversion kit for the older xcell's available. I ran it in an SE for a while a few years ago and it's been boxed up since. Engine was cleaned/oiled prior to storage and looks like new. Very little time on all parts. Everything necessary to complete the conversion is included:

YS.91ACH 4-stroke engine
header/pipe (some staining/dents; not from crash damage)
full clutch stack
carbon lower frames
engine mount
throttle linkage/bellcrank
fan shroud
CNC fan
manuals

I had a good time running this conversion. Obviously not a 3D setup, but plenty of power for sport flying/mild aerobatics. Sounds really cool. Runs fine with a GV-1 as well (magnet installed).

Will try to find some installed pics to post.

Price is $150 shipped to US.

Thanks!
Ben

I'm looking for an OS.91HZ and Muscle pipe so maybe a partial trade for the 4-stroke conversion could happen.

Thanks
Ben

Fascinatin..

How did it run? Does a 4-stroke run hotter or cooler? is the cooling fan different from other 61-91 engines?
Cheers.

I think it ran fine. Started easily, smooth throttle response, GV-1 seemed to manage headspeed just fine. Didn't push it to see where it would really "fall off".

I never measured cylinder temp, but it likely runs a bit higher temperature than a 2-stroke. Doesn't have the head area that most 2-strokes have. The CNC fan is sufficiently effective though. I think it's the same cnc fan available for other xcells, but I don't have a part number for it alone.

The clutch is different from other engines. Lower lockup RPM I'm sure.

Sounds cool and get's a little better gas mileage than a 2-stroke. I wouldn't advertise the 4-stroke as "better" than a 2-stroke. It's just something different.
