I agree that flybarless will be the future it just makes me sad! I quite like the fact that real flying is harder than flying on the sim, with a flybarless heli they can be made to fly like the sim. How many times do you hear newbies say "I can do all that 3D stuff on the sim!" Now the newbies will be able to do it for real in half the time and miss out on the enjoyable and rewarding long learning curve! I actually feel the same way about simulators! Shoot me! I was flying 2 years before I got a sim! That means ill probably have a flybarless heli in 2 years from now! By that time they will have brought out anti gravity systems and ill be 2 years behind with that aswell which would mean my indestructable blades idea would be pointless! Sorry im rambling!

60% of the time, it works every time!

I like the way my real FBL heli flys better than the sim (stock Dominion set up on realflight). It tracks better, the collective response better and it sounds a lot cooler! The only thing that makes the sim any easier is the fact that when you crash, you push a button, vwalla, a brand new heli, so the fear factor is totally taken out of the picture. Now, if you could invent that for real flying, we'd really have something!!! Also, the newbies that have learned to fly good on the sim, have crashed EVERY flight for hours, days, weeks, months, even years with no ramifications, that's why they can do it on the sim. But the sim is a great tool anyway.
