Just playing around. Seriously, I like the Profi. I also fear what you and Papatango could do to me with the vast knowledge and track record I have seen.

We're all family here Robert; I'd still be tinkering with my old Trex if it wasn't for this forum and all the members input, good, bad or otherwise. Rest assured I'll be sharing tech & business opportunities with all when the time comes, in the same spirit as PS1, yourself and others.
You gotta hand it to Nooobs though, he's done wonders for all the products he's reviewed.

Best,

Patrick

WOW, after reading this it makes my "gotta have it" really kick in. It is making my HC 3A look like a toy.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

Just did a compass magnetic test, and wonder, how much can the profi handle of magnetic interference, zero tolerance or close to zero?

Moved the compass back and fort over the mounting plate, around centre of the plate, the compass needle sliiiightly moves about 0,5mm or so, does it matter, or is what matters that the needle turn evenly if your turn the heli in different directions without being stuck at one place?

Chris

The GPS/Compass should be as far away from any magnetic sources. Not sure what the tolerance is.

When you do the calibration, depending on how level your platform is and your heli will yield various results.

Yea, but it looks like theres just tiny little field everywhere, but im not sure if the unit are as sensitive as a regular compass, but time will show, friday is the day for mounting

Anything i should be looking for when testing that should indicate a to strong magnetic field?

During calibration, as per the manual, manually spin the main blades and on the software in Instruments tab watch the magnetometer signal for any deviation.

Ok, i see, there is a cord inside the RT blades, but if it works with yours, it shouldnt be any problem with mine either
