Align does not have one main distributor of it's products in the United States. There are two mainly larger distributors to Local Hobby Shops - one damn good, and one not so good when it comes to customer support.

They are HeliWholesaler and Assurance RC - with HeliWholesaler being the good one.

Check with the shop you bought the servos from, and see where they bought their Align products.

If it is Assurance, you will have a fight on your hands, as they are tough to deal with. Historically... they don't like to take anything back, if they don't have to.

If it is HeliWholesaler, you will have no problem at all in getting it taken care of! They totally stand behind the LHS, and the LHS's customers - 100%.

you forgot heliproz and grand rc (to name two more...there are others).

you definitely need to find out who your LHS' wholesaler is, as you'll need to contact them for service.

if it ain't broke, break it.

There is no "main" distributor.

You will need to contact the hobby shop that you purchased the items from and ask them where they purchase their Align products from.

There are a few possibilities but most likely one of these two:
Assurance RC (Anthony can assist you here)
Heli Wholesaler (Jeff can help here)

The others consist of:
Horizon Hobby
Empire Hobby
Grand RC

The quality of Trex450pro has a lot to be desire. So far 1motor & 3cyclic servo replacement in 2 1/2 months of use.
I'm getting ready to purchase a Trex700 and have doubts on buying there align larger cyclic and tail servos.
Has anyone had issues with these?
Thanks
Luis

Luis,

I have been a using Align DS610's on 8 volts in 1 of my 700's since March. The servos have performed flawlessly since install and I probably have 200 or more flights on them.

I bought a set of Align 410s from Grand RC and one burned up about 5 minutes after powering it up.I called Grand and they replaced it,no problem.

I do'nt crash,I just rearrange parts.

Mike is right on about Anthony @ Assurance RC. When I had trouble with my 500 he replaced the motor and ESC. No charge except shipping the parts back. Heck of a nice guy and flys helis himself.

I've never had a problem with align/assurance when it comes to getting replacement items. They just don't like to take back products that were sold through other importers.

Man, I miss the eighties.

assurance that you wont get anything back

i think they suck!!! they never sent me back anything i sent to them and never even notified me of what the current status of my stiff was. sent every thing to them certified return receipt so i know they got it but after 5 phone calls to them i gave up on my 3 lipos, 3 esc's, 2 motors, 4 2in 1's. as far as im concerned align makes **** electronics except for there nitro governor & anything besides that that im dumb enough to buy from now on is a write off straight out of my pocket. I was dealing with a guy named Frank i believe, could look back into my emails if need be. he contacted me once to tell me to mail the stuff in and never again after that. i spent thousands on there junk- but no more with that kind of customer service.

as of October last year i also contacted Andy there and still heard nothing back.

only you have the power to make no difference!

Nope, I have one of the first kits and it's performed flawlessly for many flights.
