Hey, long time no see lol, how was the funfly? did u try the heli?

I would just put in a fuel magnet and fly!! no need for a header tank!

or check this guy's gallery, i saw he put the header tank on the 700.

Hey Karlo...
wish I could make it but I have plans with the family until 3:00

If you plan to be there past that time then I might come. Let me know.

The 700 flew great until a link popped and you know what happens next.

I should have removed the head button. I think I might have used full aileron in a roll (blade link comes very close to it)and heard a noise and one blade kinda flapped around briefly. I came into a hover and as soon as I gave a bit of positive pitch, it just came down.

At least I was 4 feet high and besides the boom, torque tube and a few links, everything else was not too bad. Going to Nick's this week for parts.

Don't fly with the button with your skills. If you plan to use maximum cyclic pitch.

Here is a pic of the header tank mounted on my 700. My buddy milled the spacer for me. It has been working great for about 6 months now.

I've got pretty much the same setup but a little more forward and a bit lower. This is an old picture, my current tank strap is metal. Be sure it is firmly mounted, it is possible to sling it off the helo if the mounting is not sufficient. I had a "stressed" screw break a couple of weeks back and my header tank got sliced and diced by the tail rotor.

Sorry to hear about the crash.
