Which is a better heli?

The Novus is newer and has a 2.4ghz radio, but I like how the Axe CX has "real" servos, heatsinks on the motors and a larger battery. I'm looking for a new heli for my girlfriend.

Thanks

I own two Axe CX and enjoy how fast they are, after I trimmed them and moved the pushrods on the servos out they fly hands free so I gave one to a friend and he was able to hover first try. They do get hot even with the heat sinks so I fly for three minutes or so and rest the motors to cool and fly again.

I own the novus CX and it's the most reliable little heli I have ever owned. Really.

Don't buy either one. Buy a Blade mSR.

Novus CX easy fun, FP OK, AXE 400 3D very nice

CX flies well and is tons of fun for the dollar. Son put the blue metal blade grips on it and it is so smooth. FP is a little more of a challenge but is flyable, quick on the tail though. Also got him the
AXE 400 3D, really nice little heli but don't fly the out of the box TX settings, get an experienced pilot to calm it down. When purchased on sale with the nice TX,RX,gyro it is fine. However, the rotation rate on the tail rotor is insane, I took it up into a high hover hit the rudder and it spun around so fast the battery flew right out the front of the heli about 40 feet away, heli dropped straight down in the snow, no damage. After calming down the settings and chopping the D/R values some and the EXPO rates some, it is a pleasant flyer and loops and rolls well. For the dollar, I think it is a better value than the full combo BLADE 400, but I could live with either. AXE is very cheap to maintain and with TOWER behind you, parts are replaced quick and easy. 15C-20C batteries like Zippy's are perfect and reasonable.

A fellow could go many seasons just by starting and staying in the HELI-MAX family all the way to the KINETIC 50. Only down side, too bad the CX,FP,CP won't bind up with the FUTABA 6EX as packaged with the AXE 400 3D, but the price of the little Novus helis is so low with the TX, not a problem. JR has them there with the MSR and Blade CX able to bind up to the DX6i used on the BLADE 400.

yeah, for not much more money, why not get the mSr??? I'd like to get one myself if I had the cash. I would think you'll get bored with a co-ax. Just my 2 cents.
