I'm running a 450 SE V2 and Have mostly been using 325 or 335 Pro woodies... I recently tried CF 325 blades from Deal Extreme and thought they were decent for the price.

The CF blades don't state a max. rpm, however, other CF on their site stat a max. of 2400 - which is where I'm running them now. Is anyone running them at a higher headspeed without issues?

The Align Pro Woodies state a max. rpm of 2800. Anyone have any issues running them at max. rpm?

I'm currently using the Align 35G ESC, but also have an Align 35X. I don't have governor mode on right now. Does it make sense to run the governor mode with a head speed of 2400 or 2800? Or does it only work well at higher head speeds.

I have heard of some issue with governor mode on the 35G. Any feedback on the 35G or 35X?

Would changing headspeed from 2400 to 2800 throw tracking off a bit?

I took the woodies out and tried the CF. The CF mounting areas were a tad narrow and I'm not sure when I put the woodies in and cranked up the headspeed, if that threw the tracking off or if the little bit of squeeze on the blade grips may have.

I'll lower the headspeed back down and see if it makes a difference...

Higher HS will exemplify tracking errors due to the aerodynamic dynamic behaviour and balance so it's not so much a case of throwing tracking off but providing a means to facilitating fine tuning of your tracking.

Interestingly enough, I just hovered it again and it didn't seem to have the same tracking issue as it did yesterday on this spool up...

I know the bearings in the blade grips could probably be somewhat worn.

Perhaps this is the issue?

This could also be an indication of a bent spindel. A bent spindle will change the tracking as it rotates.
