Is anyone here know any info on this Gaui Combo?

1. Hurricane EP550 Basic Kit
2. Gaui Brushless Motor
3. Gaui 50A Speed Control
4. Gaui External BEC
5. Gaui Wood Blades
6. 1 - AP1000mAh BEC 7.4v Receiver Battery
7. 4 - SAVOX SC-0254 Digital Metal Gear Servo
8. Gaui Digital Heading Hold Gyro GU210
9. 2 - APLUS 2200 3S1P 25C XP LiPo Battery

Is it any good? I'm also thinking maybe the Swift 16.

I would just get the basic kit and add,

A scorpion motor picked to match your battery selection.
A Castle creation Ice 100 amp speed controller.
Castle Creations BEC on board is fine.
Get some carbon Blades cheap ones not good if your are experienced pilot. I have a supplier who sells kick butt blades for 60 bucks a set.
Gyro I would look for a good used or new one. You can find a good used GY 520 for a little more then 100 duckets.
Batteries your choice 2 3s paks or 1 6s pak, mah to match your combo obviously.

Do yourself a favor and skip the swift. I assure you you will not be disappointed with the Guai.

The parts that you picked are good but unnecessary weight with extra receiver battery and bec. Plus if you tire out or want to change setups those parts, I list will either recoup your costs (If you decide to sell them) or easily change to another setup.

It's been a while since I posted that but I really appreciate your input. Still would like to get one, have seen good reports on the Hurricane 550. I picked up an Align 100amp esc and a Futaba 401 gyro but still working on the rest. Have not even had time to fly yet this season with my mother in law sick and taking her to appointments and things. She just recently passed away and are in the processed of arrangements for that. None the less I appreciate your input about the Hurricane 550. Will get there yet. Thanks.
