Here is the first half decent picture I have taken with my logo 10 ship. I want to get this printed at 12"X18". I shot it with a 12mp Kodak camera. I wanted to ask a huge favor from anyone willing. Im not doing this as a buisness, just for fun... My photo editing skills are not the best. I was wondering If anyone could work their magic on this photo so I could get it printed to hang up in our station. When I get a downlink its going to make framing up these shots so much easier. If you charge for this service just PM me and we may work something out. I would really appreciate any help. If i need to E-mail you the photo straight from my camera just PM me, im not sure but im guessing photobucket reduces the resolution when i upload. --- Chris

Upload the original photo to an image hoster like http://www.imagehost.org/ (if its a jpeg file)

If its a raw file upload it to a file hoster like http://www.filefactory.com/

Hey thanks a lot Wise... I really appreciate the quick help. What program are you using to edit the picture?

I'm using Adobe Photoshop, however this is a quite expensive piece of software unless you can get the student version of it.

For the basic adjustments like white balancing, color corrections, contrast increasement, horizon levelling etc. its enough to have the lite version Adobe Photoshop Elements or an equal program.

If you don't want to spend money for photo software you may try out some freeware available, GIMP for example.

Awesome, thanks for the info... Where is a good source for learning the basics of fixing those things in a photo?

Hi fb92,

I use NERO Photo Snap.
It is included in Nero package.
If you open the photo with it, then you click on edit button, and then you have a lot of options to modify the picture.

Is very easy to use.

bye
