Greetings! Long time lurker, first time caller. I have been enjoying my dream helicopter (the Synergy) the last couple of months (first .90 size bird for me - started flying heli's earlier this year). I have a aquestion about the 3 holes in the see saw. There is an inner, a middle and an outer hole on the see saw. I have been flying using the middle hole. Could someone tell me what kind of flying characteristics I would get by changing to the inner and outer holes?

More or less stable?
More or less reactive to cyclic input?
Faster or slower roll/pitch rates?
Do the different holes effect how collective repsonds at all?

I want to be prepared and know what to expect before I just start changing things.

My bird is pretty much stock with a few hyper upgrades and I fly with CY 710's. I am more of a big sky "pattern" flier than a close to the ground "mad 3D'er" (skills dont allow for that yet anyway! LOL!)

Trying to absorb as much info as I can so I can make educated decisions and try to set up the bird to fly the way I want.

Thanks in advance!

Steve

The middle hole as you can probably guess is a more neutral setting. The inner hole provides from my experience faster cyclic. Depending on your blades you may find the model to be a bit pitchy on the inner hole. I owned a pair of SAB 0226 710's and found them to be some of the most responsive blades around but had poor or pitchy fast forward flight tendencies. They weighed in at around 165 g. ( very light). I'm using the rotortech 710 3D blades currently and have found these blades provide the best overall results out of any blade I've flown. They auto great, they 3D great, and they make the heli fly super fast with razor sharp tracking. To answer your question you can expect the heli to be more responsive on the inner hole and again depending on the blade you will have less or significantly less stability.

Less responsive and more stable on the outer hole, more responsive and less stable on the inner hole.
