How is it shaking? The whole bird? The tail? Vertical shaking?

Are the blades tracked?

Are the blade bolts too tight?

Low head speed?

Flybar paddles level?

Flybar bent?

More details please.

The whole thing is shaking it could be the blades are out of track or balance i suppose. evrything is brand new never been crashed so nothings bent. I gotta check the blades when i get home. i didnt check the blades do brand new radix blades come unbalanced?

no they don't but its very possible that the tracking is off. Did you do any sort of pre flight setup with a pitch guage?

Sounds to me like a tight head and low head speed.

Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.

With the NEU motor I am not sure what you would run to be honest. We run either a Scorpion -10 or -8 on 4s. I have never seen one on 5s so I cannot comment on that setup. When I say a tight head I mean tight dampening in the head block. If you glued the dampers in they are likely quite tight, and at low head speeds the heli will oscialte looking much like the entire heli is shaking. Also look to see if you spindle is pushed to one side or not. All good things to look at.

Thanks for the help Brian one of the reasons I got the rave is that I saw how helpful you always are to people having trouble. The other is I saw my buddy CT Choppers Rave doing insane climbouts. Anyways yeah I glued them in and now that I look your right it is a little off to one side what can i do to resolve this?

You'll have to remove the CA glue using acetone (thoughly) then reglue them. Just make sure that the o'rings are seated all the way in. You may need to get new o'rings.

I usually can turn the spindle in the head with a wrench on one side and push in on it a little. It will usually even out.

It was the pilot shaking, not the heli.
