Fast Lad is an excellent source for all your ElyQ parts. Good people, very committed to customer service.

Yes Fast-lads is like 15 mins drive from me so I pretty much use them all the time but they have been out of stock of the ElyQ parts for weeks! The day after I ordered a part from evorc.com they get them in stock! Doh! I could have picked one up on Saturday from fast-lads! Now I have to wait for the part to arrive in the post from evorc! Oh well.

Just Ebay it and put the loss down to experience. Even if you lost 80%, you've only lost about £130 (one good hard crash). How many times have we put a crash down to experience? Selling a model off cheap because it's not right for us is really no different.

It's all experience at the end of the day. I've lost count of the number of models I've lost a killing on because they were not right for me and yes, an Ely-Q was one of them !

Good luck with the parts and sale

Don't do that !! You'll always get max value when you sell the bits individually, trust me, I've sold thousands of heli parts over the years, just look in my gallery! It's all been bought and sold on BMFA or Ebay.

You'll always realize max return when sold in bits. BMFA is good for some parts, Ebay shifts other less desirable bits for good money.

I could write a book on what to sell where and why, but I'll let you all work that one out for yourselves

I set-up and flew a Pro the other week for a mate, VERY nice!!!! better than my new V2 SE

Good Luck.

Good advice, thanks. So sell say each servo seperatly or sell the 3 cyclic servos together? Engine and pipe seperatly?

I also flew a friends 450 Pro with cheap blades and the cyclic pitch wasn't even maxed and it was awesome, alot like a 500 than a 450.

Airframe for 'that' heli = Ebay
Blades = BMFA
X3 cyclic servos = Ebay (oddly enough)
engine = BMFA
Pipe = Ebay
Gyro = BMFA first, if no luck Ebay.
Tail servo = As above.
Throttle servo = Ebay.
Battery, switch, glow clip, battery checker = Ebay.

I have found the above to yield the most money and best way to sell. Don't ask stupid money when on BMFA, they wont pay it. 2/3rds RRP is a good starting point. Use GOOD pics when on Ebay.

Hope this of some help.
