How old are your dampners? I would check EVERY screw and link in the head to make sure something is not coming loose/ loose. Im my exp. tracking that goes in and out was always a loose screw or link.

^^ +1

Either you've got something in the head giving you some pitch movement, or the blades are faulty and don't track. It happens occasionly. Maybe swap blades with one of your other heli's or with a friend and see if other blades will track to eliminate that as a possibility.

It seams like the head linkage gets loose fairly quickly and can cause problems. Has anyone found a source of more durable balls and links for the T500?

Are you in hover-mode when they are tracking perfect? If everything in the head seems tight the spindle probably has a slight bend.

check for the following:

1) no play on all the head components i.e. everything is tightened
2) no bent spindle
3) no bad bearings inside the grips

I sure wish that Align would sell small parts like that. I had a similar problem with a metal tail grip and had to buy the entire tail rotor.

Perhaps some of the clone companies has a replacement grip that will work.

its actually the ball that connects to the rotor grip....the grip hole that this goes in is striped . maybe a ball with bigger threads and i can retap them ?
