The battery mounting plate is 10cm long.

I wanted the option of HV direct feed, either via the Kiwi regulator or via the AR7100R un-regulated lines, so I was looking for 2S packs.

All the decently sized (over 2500mah) 2s packs seem to be over 130mm long or more.. so they'd overhang the end of the plate by 3cm+

Is that a problem (being over 10cm long) or does anyone know a high capacity 2s pack that isn't so long?

or should I go with a 3s or 6s and use the arizona Kiwi to feed the AR7100R so i have 5.2v and 6v only? losing the ability to run the cyclics at 8v..

Lots of capacity for a whole day of flying.

Im using a spektrum 2s2p 4000mah lipo also, I had to cut away alot of the plastic on the bottom of the battery try to make it flat so I could place the battery as far back as possible to make the CG perfect.I have the vbar and 7100 on top. At 170g, it's very light for the capacity, much lighter than the fromeco.

So, I got the USB adaptor and downloads and upgraded my Thunder Power 1010C charger, it is charging my new Fromeco 2s A123 pack now. These are big batteries! 5.4 oz. and kind of square in size.
