A side note -- it's never good to procrastinate about replacing a dying battery.

Starters work harder and wear out quicker when powered by a battery whose voltage drops significantly while cranking.

Uh . . . well mine had 'full cranking power' from the beginning right up 'til the end -- and after even -- so maybe true for some but not for others, eh?

Next time you change a battery in an obd 2 car make sure you use jumper wires to the old battery so you never lose voltage. 1996 and newer cars are obd 2 and do not like losing voltage.
