Where did you get the pin flag switch from?

Thanks. I guess you could modify it to work with any other setup than a Fromeco regulator...????

I think Fromeco regs are set up to turn on when the circuit is OPEN, the usual is on when closed, so I don't know that the switch would work with a lot of other circuitry.

Be careful. The pin switch is known to fail. I had two fail. They use a jack that looks to be an audio unit. Then they use a piece of steel for the pin that can develop poor connectivity as it ages. My Stratus was in the back seat of my truck and was turning on and off by itself. Fuel getting into may also be a factor. The good thing is it turns the heli on when it's out (the pin).

Using a 1/8" audio jack is not a bad idea. It has a normally closed pole that conducts when the male is out (no pun intended)

The question is how much current, vibration and fuel can it withstand...

imho, who cares if it fails? All electronics fail eventually, and switches are notorious for it. The GOOD thing is that when these guys fail, your heli keeps running. I've plowed one in before because of a bad switch that wasn't "fail on". Trust me when I say it's cheaper this way
