Hi guys,

I had the opportunity to be tached last night and boy was I disappointed. There were times in my flight where the head was getting up to 2400 rpm. Clearly, this is not good. My setup:

DX7 (100-80-100 throttle curve in idle-up)
Hitec 6965 on throttle
Align gov (in idle-up my ATV = 99% for roughly 2150 headspeed)
30% Curtis

I have two idle-ups set and no longer can hear a difference in headspeed when I switch between them (but I could before).

The light still turns off when the magnet passes under it. Is it possible for the sensor to have failed even though this test is working?

So does anyone have any ideas? Should I be upgrading my gov?

Thanks so much for your time.

I had the same issue on original setup and some of my buds 700's aswell. What we did was went back and initialized the governor in each mode,1 first and 2 second of course and for some reason it worked. Now that being said,we did have to set the percentages in the transmitter gov menu before setup. They all seem to be working good and you can here the change. Also we are running 100 across in the throttle curves for 1 and 2.We are running 9303 2.4's,I am sure you can get it working with the DX7 aswell.Good luck!
