I have two of thease chargers and they work great. I have used them both for six months with no problems. I am charging seven cell 5000 mah packs and they are finished in about 30 minutes. I use a 24 volt power supply to feed them. I hope this helps.

The power supply is a Meanwell 24 volt 25 amp and it powers both chargers at the same time with power to spare.

Hi Andy,

Which 24v power supply are you using?

... never mind. Just saw your other post about the Meanwells.

Best.

I have this charger but im having issues getting it to charge at 10.4 amps . I am trying to charge my hyperion 6s 2600mah packs. Is it a must to run 24v? what am I doing wrong?

It's in stock here http://www.amainhobbies.com/product...ger-7S-20A-250W

250W max charge power / 25.2V (6S pack full) = 9.92A max end of charge
250W max charge power / 22.2V (6S nominal) = 11.26A max beginning of charge

The max ratings can be obtained when using a >14.5V power supply, don't want to go into the details why it is so. I'm using a 14.2V IOTA DLS 55A power supply (in terms of wattage this PS at 750-780W is way more than this charger needs) and I get 9-10A charge current when charging 6S packs.

This is a really good charger.

Power Supply

I found a power supply on Ebay. I can't find the link anymore. It's 18V 30 Amps. I max out to 10.8 amps on 6S 4000 batteries. More than 2C. It came from Hong Kong, shipped it was 90 bucks. Arrived overnight via Fed Ex.

I'm running 2 720i Net 3's with a sync cable. I love these chargers. I charge my 12S Hyperion VX G3 5000's with this setup at full output. That's 500watts of pure charging power. I love them. I can get full charges on a pack within about 21mins. Been doing this since roughly Jan and no problems at all.

turns out my issue was settings . user setup menu . I had to crank up all the supply current to get the charger to charge my 6s 2600s at anywhere near 10.4amps .
