Do I need the G View to set up the ATG v3 Gov? Well I actually know I do not need it but does it make setup much much easier? IS it worth the extra $$ for it is the bottom line?

Thanks

Yes, especially worth the $ if you get a Solid G or Mini G.

Can someone explain or provide a link on how to use the display w/the ATG v3. I've been running this governor for a few months by itself & just got my hands on the display. Is the display only for setup? Do you keep the display on board while flying? I was unable to find any info on Curtis' website.

Thanks

528Hemi-
Do you "NEED IT" for set up?
NO.
But the justification in cost is the ease of set up it allows!
When you do not have the G-View your doing the "read the flashing light" method. Now this works if your well versed in setting up the ATG V3 (Ask Buzzin Brian here on RR).
Now having the G-View will enable you to physically read a digital display read out on a step by step method, This alone is worth the money to have the confidence that your settings are done and done right. The guide book included in the ATG gives you both set up methods by color indication of using the G-View or not using the G-View. If you have any questions CY Enterprises has "THE" best customer technical supports you can get!
How do I know? I have called and been assisted in a step by step walk through to tell me what "I" did wrong.

As mentioned you can also use G-View to set up a Mini-G (Solid G discontinued!), The Mini G is a powerhouse for it's size and the G view makes it easy step by step set up as in the case of the ATG..

Just decide if you want to use the ATG as a throttle limiter or as a governor, it will do both!

Ok. So once the ATG is setup, is it possible to hookup the display to recall what has been programmed? Don't have a manual at the moment.

OK. Any directions on how to do this? Am I missing something simple here or is there a particular button I have to press etc. When I plug the display in its not automatically displaying my settings.

Thanks

Cool. I'll give that a try to recall what I initially programmed.

Thanks
