Ok, so took my Logo 10 and converted to a flybarred Logo 400 with 3mm blade grips. Ordered the VBAR and flybarless rotorhead for the 400 and now see that the blades grips are now 4mm (which i had on the logo 10). Do the blades I need to use for the Logo 400 hava a 3mm or 4mm bolt hole. If 3mm, can I use the Logo 400 flybar head blade grips or do I need to find 425mm blades that accept a 4mm bolt?

I think originally the logo 400 kits was 3MM hole but it was hard to find those blades so now its 4MM.

Maybe someone can confirm?

All the logo 400, 10 and 500 use the same vbar head with an exception that the 400 has 3MM bolts for mainblades (the first production didn't have 3MM holes). Because they all have the same part number, the hobby shop must have mistaken when packaging your order. Send it back and ask for the 3mm version.

But Long, the instructions explicitly said Logo 400. Is there such a thing as a 425mm blade that takes a 4mm bolt.

As I mentioned the early production of logo 400s had 4mm bolt holes. But there were/are no ~430mm blades having 4mm holes that I know. All the new logo 400 kits will come 3MM. So you must have gotten the old item I guess.

We have a very early Logo 400, that has 4mm holes in the blades grips. My solution to the problem was (and still is, since I still have the heli in its original form), is to drill the 3mm holes in the blades out to 4mm. No big deal.

So that you don't think I'm the only crazy person to do this, I helped another Team Mikado pilot at IRCHA do the same thing while installing a new set of blades on what was probably one of the original prototype Logo 400's from Germany.

For information, the Radix 430's have a brass spacer at the bolt hole, which you can knock out, and the remaining hole is 4mm.

If you have what looks like identical blade grips that has 3mm holes, go ahead and use them. They are the same except for the hole size.

Thanks for the replies.

If you look at the readyheli parts listing for the L400, they don't distinguish between the bladesgrips for the flybarless and the fybarred. That being said, I'm going to verify with Readyheli and then take the 3mm blade grips from the flybarred head to the flybarless head. They look almost identical anyway except for the bolt hole size, so it should be fine.
