Good news from Switzerland!

Swiss QJ dealer http://www.virusflyer.ch has some new tuning parts for the EP-8/9 available:

- Battery mount that replaces the lower rails, too, and allows to fit either the standard landing gear or a gear like Atom 500

- EP-9 Servo reducing frames to allow small servos on the EP-9 frame, like e.g. Hitec HS-82MG. For those that not want to run standard servos on the EP-9.

- EP-9 Flybarless head

- EP-9 Titan main shaft

I do not have more details yet and I am not a representative or reseller of that shop. You may watch out for the final release of these parts on http://www.virusflyer.ch. Release date is not yet communicated, but should be soon.

Gorn,

All I can see from their website is that the titan mainshaft for the EP-9 (as an upgrade for the stock steel mainshaft) is now in stock.

I'll keep monitoring it to see when the Flybarless head is ready to ship.

How does that new main shaft work?
The one way sleave has a hole size of 6mm, that shaft is straight 8mm.

Gorn, I agree with your point regarding the EP-8.

This shaft is for the EP-9. I can only assume that the EP-9's one way sleave has a 8mm hole (I don't have a EP-9).
