Yes
Either the stock hacker or scorpion 1400 or 1600KV is good
Blades upto you really
Batteries, it seems that 3000MAH 6S or something around that is the most popular

Since you already have the Jazz 80, I'd go with the V-bar head and electronics kit (no power system), add a Scorpion 3026-1400 (pinion to suit what head speed / flight time you want), Radix 430's, and a full size t/r servo (BLS 251 or 8900G). You'll be very happy with that set-up.

Batteries...pick your poison (-:

Also, the free gyro is just that. You get a free Youngblood Solid G t/r servo with the order. Seems to me they should give the gyro away with "non-VBar" kits, as the V-Bar doesn't need a separate t/r gyro. But, I guess you could always sell it at a really low price, since it was free to you, and new in the box (-:

And, I'm not sure at this point if the current 400 kits in stock at Ready Heli have the mini V-Bar of not. The word is 400 kits will at sometime include the mini, but if that is a deal breaker for you one way or the other, I'd call Ready heli and ask to be sure.

Actually, the -1400 and Jazz isnt a good combo on 6s (too many poles, too high KV)
1600kv motor is a better pick if you are going with the scorpion, kind of small pinon though.
You hit the switching limit of the Jazz, the Hacker is a better option.

As Mel says. Stay clear of the scorpion if using the Jazz80. Not a good match. I couldn't even hover without the jazz shutting down.

No matter what motor you will likely need a heatsink on the Jazz. The hacker works well.

Good observation MrMel. Thanks for the info. I guess I'd better do my homework better, as I hadn't figured out that the 1400kv and 1600kv Scorpion 3026's had a different pole count, and the switching limits on the Jazz 80 made for a less than good combination.

This is a good example of me violating one of my own rules: Never give advise on something you've never ACTUALLY TRIED FOR YOURSELF. I fly with a guy running a 1600kv Scorp 3026 on a Logo 400 using a Castle ESC, and has great performance. I violated my own rule when I saw someone else running something similar, made an assumption, and then gave advise based on that. Thanks MrMel for setting the record straight. Lesson learned again .

So, how about the Jive 60 and 80 LV. Have you any info on whether they MIGHT be compatible with the 1400kv 3026? I guess I'll find out soon enough, as I am going to try the Scorp 3026-1400kv with a Jive 60 amp in Kyle's Logo 400. I've been using the Jive 60 with a Hacker 1350kv for awhile with great success, so I ASSUMED the 1400kv Scorpion would work as well??? We'll see (-:

Running Jive 80LV in mine, it works well for sure. Like fredrik and fergus mention, I had some issues with the 80-6-18 and the 1400 motor, even when pushing on a pyro to.
