My wife went along and recorded this evening's Mini Titan flights. No 3D yet (someday... ), just some fast FF mixed in with some slower, controlled flying. I REALLY enjoy flying the MT! Also, the MT can really move, as you can see from a couple of those fast and low flyby's . Anyway, below is my setup, if you are interested.

- Thunder Tiger Ripper OBL 29/35 10H 3500Kv Motor w/11T pinion
- Ace BLC 40A ESC
- HobbyWing Switchable 3A 5/6v U-BEC
- Ace C1016 Servos on Swashplate
- Futabe S9257 Tail Servo
- xmhobbies G401B HH Gyro
- Spektrum AR6100 Receiver
- Align 325 Pro Wood Main Blades
- Zippy Flightmax 11.1V 2200mAh 25C Lipo
- Spektrum DX7 Transmitter

I thought I would also add the second flight. At 3:03 into the video, I perform a few punchouts. The tail seems to hold very well .

I also took some temperature readings with my IR thermometer at the end of the first flight:

Motor - 115F
ESC - 84F
Battery - 95F
Receiver - 75F

Air Temp - 71F
Humidity - 40%
Calm winds

Also, used 963mAh of the battery during the 4.0 minute flight.

Nice.
Would you say the MT tail has less slop and holds better than the Trex 450 SEV2?

I've been looking at the photographs of the MT tail. Seems like they have a better design. Or am I wrong?

Thanks. I can't answer your questions because I've never flown a Trex 450 . But if a Trex 450 flies like the MT, I believe I would also enjoy the Trex 450 . Perhaps, Fender can chime in here...I know he has flown the MT, as well.

I have flown both. I liked both of them for different reasons. in the end I chose the MT over the rex. I thought both tails had very little slop. probably the same amount. flying characteristics were about the same. MT was a little more stable and reacted a lot quicker. MT was also easier to work on. Both fly excellent.

I haven't flown a rex enough times or hard enough to give anything useful as a comparison, only test flights for set up and tail tweaking.but the rex tail still held fine.its a ford and chevy thing, but as for maintanence the MT wins in my book, the design is much better for getting to stuff

No problem. You had her turning and burning. She will flip very fast. You really need to be on your A game if you have it set up for fast cyclic. I always love watching your flights. So calculated. Mine are also calculated. Ive been practicing flips and a little inverted but ive been so busy lately. I havent had time to do much. Also, I cant speak for other 500 machines but the Trex 500 is totally awesome. I like flying it as much if not more than the MT. I have the GF version and it is awesome with out upgrades. Great flight Racin
