What is the largest set of mains that you should run on a Freya with a YS 91st? I am planingon doing any 3d, this ship is being set up for AP so I want the smoothest most stable ship I can get. I have an Xspec head on it with a factory length flybar. Any changes you Freya guys can suggest for an extremely mild setup? Thanks guys!

Esp for that application, you can run 700 mm mains and 92-95mm tail blades. A small amount of disk overlap with the t/r is of no concern. It'll never strike unless you land in such a manner that would make a t/r strike the least of your worries.

Use 40-45g paddles and a set of flybar weights (or even two) on top of that. 490mm flybar.

700mm Rotortech SG FAI blades would be ideal.

Use the lower mobility/higher stability choice of the flybar ratios. The grip flip mod described elsewhere on RR will improve collective stability with minimal detriment to cyclic stability.

Set your hover mode cyclics to 3 or 4 degrees at most with between 20 and 40% expo. Tweak to taste.

Thanks, I am running 690 Jokers on it now. When you referto lower mobility/higher stability flybar ratio what adjustments are you making? I have only set it up stock and ben flying with that. If I take a pic of my head assembly could you tell me where I ahould have my ball links?

Move the pivot bolt for the bell mixer to the outer most available hole choice.

Got it, thanks. Do you think I would see much a difference between the 690's and 700's?

The diameter isn't the difference to a great extent. The spanwise CG and total blade mass are. The SG's are well over 200G with a fairly outboard spanwise CG. These two points are critical for a stable platform.
