A guy flys it at our field. IMO it's for the guy who wants a total plug and play and have a sort of heli command system as well. I think it depends on your current flying ability and where you want to get to.

Regardless if you're new, IMO I would say not to get it. The Innovator will be fun at first and possibly help you avoid some crashes, but after some time you'll want to be able to do more, which it won't be able to do.

I would say get a kit and build it, or buy something that will allow you to progress through the hobby instead of spending alot on the TT and being dissapointed eventually. Just my .02.

I have a Innovator MD530 & EXPERT, have to say to get an EXPERT is a better choice, it's stable and easy to fly as the same with MD530, but equips much more powerful motor & no need to upgrade again when you wanna learn 3D flight. Even I am a newbie in RC Heli world, and are just learning hovering... but I had got ready to fly 3D

Can you fly the ThunderTiger Innovator with a Jr x9303 2.4? I read something about it being 2.4, but did not find out if it will work with another radio.

Thanks

Edit:

I just read an old post on RCU about them comming out with a modual or something to allow it to fly with other radios, not sure what they me by modual, unless for radios tx's that require a modual.
Or the heli has a place for something like a modual.

No, you must use Innovator 2.4G module and install it in your JR (or other brand) Tx.
But as I know, X9303's 2.4G module is build-in Transmitter and can not be changable...
