I flew a demo of the coaxial at the stabio experimental heli meet,
sept. 30th.

Here is a video I made of the flettner, flown by Volker Jung.

Peter...are you literacy challenged?

Reading is fundamental.

Try it.

I made no such claim. It clearly reads "I flew a demo of the coaxial"...

It also clearly reads that the video is of the Flettner; these are
different helicopter types. Hope this relieves your confusion.

Human, what's it feel like to fly does it display any unusual flying characteristics? Like is it more stable in the hover or even the opposite that might make it feel more manoverable?

Bell

The only electronic stab used out of the usual yaw gyro, is a
cyclic fore and aft. It flys well without a yaw gyro too.

No odd characteristics at all, electronic mixer for flight control
of cyclic. Looks like samurai on crack in the air, I love the
blade intermesh on start up...really sick.

I made a lot of video, pm me and will send to you. I will be building one soon. By the way, Pahl is coming out with a new 8kW
smaller two stage turbine...will work here as well, single sided
exhaust available.

best,

michael

It's very compact, quite surprising seeing as you have 2 helicopters morphed into 1.
I was going to suggest that it looked like some kind of leathal alien insect, but I think your 'Looks like samurai on crack' comment is more on the money. It certainly does look like some kind of 'ancient enraged blade wielding oriental'

I read "I flew a demo" " and "Here's a video of it" which has now been edited to say someone else was flying.

Where's the video of YOU flying. We are all waiting to see the famous coax auto

What's going on here? This is really good stuff Peter, and I thought you of all people here would be into this seeing as you have a Coax too.

The footage looks great., and it flys true and straight.

You know me Bell, I wont let BS go by without raising the question, in case someone gets misled.

Here's an example for Humans posting of 2 years ago, when he did a buildup.
I have seen the retracts, and
they are extraordinary; light, and fully folding and rotating as per
full scale. There will also be a scale cockpit, and even an ejection seat. There will be a working cannon, and rockets that look scale when fired. I will have pics after the JetPower meet.

The retracts are not yet finished, 2 years later. Volker has my money but hasn't shipped yet. He says he will NOT be making a scale cockpit, certainly no ejection seat. He also says he will supply a cannon, but it is 3D modelled in plastic and obviously isn't working.

Human has also made some pretty wild claims about the stability and reliability of these machines and his expertise in flying them, which has never been witnessed by anyone outside of Germany. I know of 5 helicopters, 3 of which are in pieces after failures caused crashes, and my two, which are grounded until I can rebuild them so they dont vibrate apart in mid air.

If human flew a demo, surely he would have done one of his autos which according to the manufacturer cant be done, and according to Mr Hiller, who tried it on the full size, is very difficult to do as the direction of the yaw control becomes reversed. Human says he can reverse the yaw servo in flight and switch off the gyro and it autos like a dream, and I would like to see it done. Not too much to ask is it?

Peter Whales

As usual, you lack of success is extrapolated to become the world
standard...

in your mind.

Your comment on editing is a lie, and you misquoted the post to
boot. I know you are embarasssed you misread it. My flight was
witnessed by all the attendees, as well as the designer of the
machine.

How many original coaxial or flettner kits have you designed and made?

The original plans have changed, obviously, and I am not employed
by any manufacturer. You seem to have great difficulty with the facts.

I have no obligation to produce anything for you. What you think is of no moment. No crashes of our machines occurred, and the flying was felt to be interesting by all who observed and commented. It is a high end machine, that many fly far better than you.

If you have no more than your pithy comments and criticisms, and
cannot accept the fact that knowledge continues beyond that limited
amount you have, then your posts will remain pedantic forever.

And, if you cannot fly the machine, stop whining!

hehe, thats Wales not Whales, and once more you completely avoid the issue. Video of your demo flight, or maybe no one was watching

Ah well once more you resort to personal attacks while showing videos of products you are trying to sell via RR.

Stabio, PW

You are welcome to join us if you are that interested, next
year. Your comportment is such that I am not inclined to provide further instruction to you, in reponse to your many requests regarding the coax. Again, I work for no
one, and my assistance to Volker is a not for profit altruistic one.

Further posts on this site from me will ignore your constant
ad hominem attacks. And, could you please go practice your constant
thread hijacking techniques elsewhere? This one is taken.

Well all I can say is it's nice to see a coaxial set-up and flown well. Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff here soon Human213.
Are you going scale with it? I actually like it in pod and boom because you can see all the workings and it's a curiosity in itself.
