The Inertia gyro's are awesome, provided they are coupled with a high end servo like the BLS251/9256.
Check out the Spartan website for servo ratings & go for 5 stars.

I originally tried the Inertia with the Align DS620, it worked well but I had an annoying bounce that I could not get rid of.
I then fitted a 9256 & it was like night & day!
I've since replaced the 9256 with a BLS251.

The Inertia holds rocksolid where I could get my GY611 to blow out.

I'm keen to see how the new Align DS650 performs in comparison to the 9256/BLS251.

I was sceptical of the Inertia's performance & reliability at first but now I own 3 of them.

Great bang-for-buck gyro.

Sorry for off-topic.

Good timing for that picture. I'm just about ready to plug all the electronics together in my 700, and was wondering where all the bits would fit.

My 700 will have my third Inertia gyro. The first one replaced a GY401 in a Trex 500. The Inertia made a night and day difference in the way the 500 handled.

So good that I replaced a second 401 in a 600 Nitro Pro with my second Inertia. Again, night and day difference, the tail holds no matter what I do.

Now, number 3 is already attached to my 700. At this rate, all my 401s will be history soon.

Wow, just about to pull the trigger on a Futaba 520 and you guys had to go write all this about the Intertia I do think I'll try the DS650 once they start shipping. For now I'm putting a Hitec 6965 on the tail.

I put sleeving over my servo wires, probably won't get as neat of a job as shown here, I never do. I'll post what I come up with.

What part of the planet do you live on? They have been available and shipping for several months now, Heliproz, direct from Inertia RC, as well as other vendors...I'm on number three, replacing 401's as I go.
