I posted this over in Simulators, but there seems to be more helpful "esky" people here - hmm wonder how that could happen

Not meaning to "cross post" and break rules or anything.. but..

----

I have noticed that the windows driver for the ESky USB simulator controller actually lists the controller as having 6 inputs rather than 4 inputs.

It looks as though the logic is there for the hardware/controller/driver but there's no pot or switch to engage or control these additional 2 channels.

Has anyone looked into this or been successful adding another pot or switch - i.e. throttle hold, idleup.. or somesuch?

The driver also shows the availability of 3 additional buttons.

After taking the unit apart, there's nothing obvious - no blank spots to attach push buttons, pots, or switches.. but I'm still wondering if the chip is capable of it with a little creative wiring/soldering or if this is just a "vestigial" part of the windows driver and it's really not there?

Thanks,

- Michael

Left stick, up and down, counts as two (pitch and throttle), so there's 5. Depending on which Tx you have, there's a gyro gain switch, so there's 6.

Actually talking about the USB controller that I got with FMS rather than my regular TX..

I've been doing some research and it seems like it's written into the usb chip in the device. It may be more likely to go spend the $35 for an actual 6 channel version of the same device rather than trying to frankenstein something.

Opps, sorry. My misunderstanding. I thought you were talking about the Tx.
