I used the 50mm on my TT pipe as well. You have to cut them like you said, but it's not a big deal.

Just thread a nut onto the bolt, cut off the right amount and then take the nut off. The nut will re-thread the bolt where you cut it.

Wow guys, I just wanted some advice to get my bird back in the air because I messed it up. I did tighten it too much but was looking for a quick cheap fix. Again thanks for all the advice.

Curtis Youngblood MP5 pipe will be a very good choice!

You will have to trim the canopy and add a longer fuel exhaust line though.

fyi, the MP50-SB (Stick banger version) does not have threads in the pipe header. You *must* use longer bolts and nuts on the other side. I have been doing this with all the pipes I put on and I use the nylon locking nuts. Tighten them down, re-tighten after the first flight (while everything is still hot) and they should be good to go.

MP2, MP5, MP50SB and Hatori SB-50JK are all 50 size pipe's I've owned and like them. They *all* require cutting the Raptor canopy for clearance. The stock PV0109 pipe works great for engine RPM's under 17,000 and is nice and reliable. So if you fly a lower headspeed it's probably a better exhaust for you.

Check the bolts periodically, don't wan't it coming loose in flight.
