I have a 8.4 Volt 1400 MAH Ni Min battery that i want to charge on my BC6. It appears that on the NiMin charge setting it dose not have a voltage cut off?

What voltage should I stop charging at?

What C should I charge at?

Thanks for all the help.

Do you mean Nimh batteries? If so........

I just had a look on the net and it appears that if the charger is set to auto it will cut off automatically using the delta peak method.
I would charge at 700mah, but you may be able to go a bit higher.
Its all in these instructions

Yeah NiMh, Sorry I don't quite get it. There seems to be no cut off setting on NiMh? (Besides the MAH cut off) I know I dont want to just set it to 1400 and walk away. When fully charged what voltage should i be looking at? (7 cell, NiMh, 1400 Mah)

Exactly

Also you can set timer as back up, also you can use a remote temp sensor as backup as well as the Mah cut off.

just be careful, there is a chance it could false peak, if that happens, it seem to help to charge at a slower rate, and do a few cycles to help out.

Set the cell count to 7c, charge it at 1.4A and set the MAH to 1400, that's all you have to do.

It will peak by itself either by V or by MAH.

If it is brand new, charge at .5A.

FWIW, it's NiMH.

Remember C/10 charge rate will give you a longer battery life. If this is a new battery, charge a little faster which might help against false peak. I dont like the idea of charging at 1C though.
