A header tank will be good to have if you are running the outer hole for clunk. There is no need for a header if you are using the inner hole.

i always run headers with the standard clunk i like to run the main tank dry then auto on the header.my main line fell off just the other day i noiticed the header tank draining down to half a tank when its always full so i landed safely and noticed the clunk floating in the main tank.
