BTW guys, the decorum here on the Hirobo forum is almost always high class, so let's PLEASE not let Ryan's question about radios turn his thread into a Ford versus Chevy pissing match that often happens on the radio forum.
That is why I chose to post the radio question in the Hirobo section...After reading some of the replies from everyone here it seemed like the best place to get different opinions without it turning into a fight. Thanks again for all the help so far!

As far as the UK is concerned the Futaba 10CG has to be the best value in terms of features. The price jump to the 12 [whatever] is quite large. The price difference between JR and Futaba is large with JR considerably more expensive.

Thanks for the help guys...after some research and advice from a few people I think I'm leaning towards the Futaba 12Z...looks pretty impressive! Unless I have some extra cash at the time I might say screw it and get the 14MZ...something about the color touch screen that draws me in! haha! More than likely it'll be the 12Z though unless the boss decides to give me a raise sometime soon!

Radio

Ryan

If you have a group of friends or a club that you will fly with. Ask those people what radio they are flying. It makes life allot easier when you can get some experienced help when programing.
To me ease of programing is key, My 9303 seems to fit the bill.

Haven't been able to order the kit yet...gotta get a couple bills paid before I do...I hate trying to be patient! haha!

Yeah I talked to a few guys that fly around here and there is a good mix of radios so I can pretty much get help with whatever I choose so thats kind of nice.
