hi,

is the outrage 50 spindle shaft:

1. the same as the outrage 50 flybarless head spindle shaft (R50N575-8)?
2. similar in size to the trex 600 spindle shaft?

info much appreciated.

HD was fast to replace my parts, including the TT gears that were damaged during the landing. Kudos to them!

On another note, anybody else feel that the TT gears are a little too fragile?
Note that my tail blades are secured darn loose in the grips. Anything other than a soft landing strips the front TT bevel. Just wanna find out the general consensus. Or maybe i just gotta get used to it.

Thanx!

I have not broken the tail gears yet, twice it has come down badly..

I cant really say if the gears are weak or not, best thing to do is not touch the tail

Make sure to run alittle bit of backlash on the TT gears, dont press the TT hard in both ends of the tail and mount .... not that i would do something like that

Mines got the vibes, cant stop my tail being a little happy, I think it has something to do with the tail gears resonating through into the gyro, do you lads mount your gyro on the back or front? Mines on the back, so its closer to the main spindle.

Also I have found my tail rod to flex side ways due to the design of the tail, I moved my end guide back as far as I could without binding and have eliminated most of it, but still have a tad. Cant wait to get it sorted, shes no fun atm, I'm using the 770 with 8900 servo, I have been using 770s since there release and this is the first one to stump me, so any other ideas, let me know. So far I have tried, smaller distance from centre on servo horn, setting gyro up from scrath over and over, engine tuning, looking for vibes from rotor head, checked blade ballance and paddles. Only other thing I can think of is the tail blades.

if ya not crashen you aint tryin

i put mine in front of the cyclic servos up front, no problems

you could need a metal plate or maybe even a extra piece of tape.

my bird is one bad mother at this time.

Guys, i just needa confirm my suspicion.
The TT gears, both the front and back are the same rite? Im referring to the one that actually goes onto the TT.
Gotta order some, need them BAD.

Thanx!

Huh!
Darn it, if that is true, then ive ordered the wrong stuff.

Kinda weird though, from the manual, it does look visually the same. No reason why they should be different.

Thanx!
