I'm running the Spartan on my 500 and the gp750 on the 450 pro, both are great gyro's but if you are buying new I'd probably get the spartan since the price is just about the same. If you are buying used or off of Runryder you can probably get a good deal on the gp750.

I can't tell much of a difference in flight, seems the Align is actually a little more locked in but I doubt that's the case??? Different heli's though so it's hard to tell.

I used to have the 401 in mine, and now just installed a Futaba Gy520 with BLS servo, and WOW it's a completely different heli, I'm sure glad I did this change.

The 401 is OK, but give the Inertia 860 a shot. It might be the new kid on the block, might not have the big name recognition, but it gives those "name" brand gyros a good run for the money.

I have an inertia on my Logo 10 and it's Awesome. Best gyro I have flown. It replaced a 401 and the tail holds so much better now. I don't think you can touch it especially for the price.

When I had my 500, I ran the JR 770/3500 combo and it worked great. I loved it.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

I flew with a friend who has a 500 and align gyro. He was doing fast backwards flight with no blow out. He also has a spartan and he too cant tell the difference.
