I have some acrylic paint left over from car paint jobs. Can i use them on a nitro fibreglass canopy, even the clearcoat which is wattyl spartan? Any info would be great help..

the clear is your only cocern
You will have to use automotive 2 part clear other then thatu should be fine. The canopies that I post on here are done in Autoair which is water based.

my only concern is the nitro oil on the canopy. i can use acrylic as the base coat and 2 part clear on the top coat. I've been told the clear can chip off. thanks for info kickybanks.

i use 2 part clear
I try to make sure Ive got good coverage and a nice thick coverage of clear. I havent had an y problems yet so good luck.
